Mighty Mighty Love is a song written by Tim Nichols, Darrell Brown and Dennis Matkosky. It was first released by American country music artist Lila McCann.[1] It was recorded on her 2001 album Complete.
The song was also recorded by Australian country music artist Aleyce Simmonds in 2005 and again in 2007 by Ty Herndon.
Background
Mighty Mighty Love tells the story of the narrator finally meeting his/her lover, some sweet day and everything has changed.
The song is about a very strong relationship with a future with no fear. "Together we stand on this mighty, mighty love."

Australian country music singer Aleyce Simmonds recorded her debut single Mighty, Mighty Love after winning Telstra Road to Tamworth in 2004.[3][4] The song was chosen for her by Sony Music.[5] Simmonds only heard the song a few times before recording the song. It was her first time recording, at the age of 18.
It was recorded in Nashville, Tennessee released as a EP in 2005 on Sony BMG label. [6]
Chart Performance
Simmonds' version was the most requested film clip on the Country Music Channel at one stage. She was the youngest artist to go to #1 as a debut artist. Peeking at #3 on Australian Radio.[7]

Mighty Mighty Love was released by American country music artist Ty Herndon on his 2007 album Right About Now. It was produced by co-writer of "Mighty Mighty Love" Dennis Matkosky, who also co-wrote Maniac (Michael Sembello song) used in the 1983 film Flashdance.[9]
