LD Entertainment (originally named Liddell Entertainment) is an independent American film studio and sales company, founded in 2006 by Mickey Liddell, which finances, produces, acquires and distributes full-length theatrical motion pictures around the world.

The company is headquartered in Los Angeles, California, and is run by Mickey Liddell.

LD's most recent films include Jackie, a biopic about Jackie Kennedy starring Natalie Portman and directed by Pablo Larrain, the World War II drama Anthropoid starring Jamie Dornan and Cilian Murphy and Risen, a fictional account of the Resurrection with Joseph Fiennes.

Other films produced under the LD banner are The Grey with Liam Neeson and Albert Nobbs with Glenn Close.

Some of the films which LD Entertainment has distributed include; Killer Joe, a dark comedy by William Friedkin and starring Matthew McConaughey; Disconnect, starring Jason Bateman and Alexander Skarsgard; the horror film The Collection by Saw writers Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton; and Black Rock starring Kate Bosworth, Lake Bell and Katie Aselton.[1]

Amongst the films LD Entertainment has acquired or produced are the Academy Award nominated Biutiful, starring Javier Bardem and directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu; I Love You Phillip Morris starring Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor; Good Hair starring Chris Rock; The Details starring Tobey Maguire, Elizabeth Banks, Laura Linney and Ray Liotta (acquired by The Weinstein Company); as well as the genre movies, The Haunting Of Molly Hartley and The Collector.[2]

The company expects to produce and release four to six films a year with production budgets of up to $25 million.[3]
