Michal Horáček is a Czech entrepreneur, lyricist, poet, writer, journalist and producer. From 2007 until 2010, he was a chairman of Akademie populární hudby.[1][2]

In April 2016, Horáček announced his possible candidature for President of the Czech Republic in the 2018 election.[3] According to opinion poll by Sanep, he would qualify for second round with 13% against incumbent Miloš Zeman. Horáček would gain 44% in second round according to poll.[4]
