Michael Johnston is an American actor. He is best known for his role as Corey in MTV's supernatural drama series, Teen Wolf.[1] Johnston is also a voice actor for animations and video games and starred in the 2016 comedy-drama indie film Slash.[2][3]

Early life

Johnston grew up in North Carolina where at the age of 12 he started auditioning for voiceover's in commercials and animations in a recording studio he had set up in his bedroom.[3][4] After graduating from high school early, he moved to Chicago where he studied acting at The Second City.[1][4] Johnston was only in Chicago for six months before moving to Los Angeles.[4]

Career

Voiceover roles

Johnston has voiced characters for video games including: Dust: An Elysian Tail, Bee Wars[5] and Tales of Zestiria. Johnston has also done voice work for TV series including: A Lull in the Sea,[6] TOME: Terrain of Magical Expertise[5] and voiced the lead role for Zak Storm.[4]

TV and movie roles

Johnston appeared in the MTV series Awkward[1] and plays Corey in MTV's Teen Wolf[7]

Johnston has the lead role as Neil in the comedy-drama film Slash, where he plays a 15-year-old high school student who writes slash fiction.[8] He also appeared in the indie horror film Bornless Ones[9][10]
