Mepraia is a genus in the subfamily Triatominae, endemic of Chile, and vector of Chagas disease. Currently this genus contains 3 species Mepraia spinolai (Porter, 1933), Mepraia gajardoi (Frías, Henry & González, 1998) and Mepraia parapatrica (Frías, 2010).[1]
