Melissa Baker is an American model who appeared in the 2008 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.[1]

Biography

Melissa Baker was born in Akron, Ohio, and grew up in nearby Cuyahoga Falls,[2] graduating from Stow-Munroe Falls High School.[3] She had been a competitive gymnast in her youth.[4] Her family, which is at least partly Greek in origin, still resides in Ohio. Her mother's name is Becky,[5] and she has a twin brother, Brandon.

Career

Baker is considered curvaceous.[6] She is represented by Click Model Agency in New York and Los Angeles, and by Women's Model Management in Milan and Paris.[7]

She has modelled for Abercrombie & Fitch, Express, McDonalds, Sisley and appeared on the cover of Bridal Magazine.[7] Baker has been photographed by Bruce Weber, Terry Richardson, Sylvia Krivickova, Richard Phibbs, Raphael Mazzucco, Antoine Vergas, Miko Lim and many more. She has appeared in V and Maxim. She walked for the Malan Breton Spring 2009 Runway collection during New York Fashion Week.
