History

Before 1955 the 67 route ran along part of the current 96 route (from the corner of Barkly Street, up Acland St, around the Esplanade, along Fitzroy St), then straight along Fitzroy St to the St Kilda Junction, then followed the current 64 route (down Wellington St, Dandenong Road, Hawthorn Road) to terminate at the Balaclava Road corner.
