The May 12, 2016 Dürümlü bombing was a truck bomb attack that took place in Dürümlü hamlet in Diyarbakır's Sur district, Turkey on Thursday 12th May 2016 at approximately 22:30 local time. As a result of the attack 16 villagers were killed and 23 villagers were wounded.[1][2][3] The PKK's youth militant wing, the People's Armed Forces (HPG), later claimed responsibility for the attack in the name of PKK.[4]
