Palm Valley School is a private, college-preparatory school located in Rancho Mirage, California. The school was formed in 2005, when the Marywood Country Day and Palm Valley Schools merged. The Palm Valley School was formed in 1952, followed 26 years later by the Marywood School in 1978. The school currently serves all grades from Preschool through 12, with an average class size under 20 and an average graduating class of 20 seniors. The schools, which were previously housed on two separate campuses, consolidated at the J. Blake Field campus, formerly the Palm Valley School campus, in 2008. The school's motto is "Paratus Vitae" which translates as "Prepared (for) Life".

Notable past students include Alia Shawkat,[3] Bobbie Gentry,[4] Josh Homme, Paris Hilton,[5] Lindsay Hartley. and Carrie St. Louis,[6]
