Mark Waschke

Mark Waschke (born 10 March 1972) is a German actor.

Mark Waschke was born in Wattenscheid, Germany. He studied acting at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts[1] and has been, since 1999, a member of the renowned Berlin theatre company Schaubühne, where he played the lead roles in plays such as William Shakespeare's Macbeth and Tennessee Williams' Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Since 2005, he has also appeared in acclaimed television series and films, notably Buddenbrooks (2008), and Habermann (2010). For the latter, he won the Bavarian Film Awards for best actor.

Waschke lives in Berlin with his wife, daughter and son.
