Mark Sudack

Mark Andrew Sudack (born April 9, 1976 in New York City, NY, USA) is an American record producer, talent manager and A&R.

Career

Sudack's past projects include executive producing Mariah Carey's 12x platinum selling album The Emancipation of Mimi[1] as well as the 5x platinum E=MC2.[2] Sudack began his career at Columbia Records while still attending high school.

In 2002, he became VP Marketing at Arista Records[3] helping build the careers of artists including Pink, Dido, Outkast & Usher.

From 2004-2009, Sudack worked exclusively with Mariah Carey as manager and A&R. Sudack recently partnered with longtime friend and former colleague Constance Schwartz (Snoop Dogg, The Firm) and former NFL star Michael Strahan to form SMAC Entertainment,[4] a Los Angeles based talent management company focusing on music & sports.[5]

Personal life

Sudack reportedly dated Mariah Carey from 2004-2008.[6] Sudack married Laura Katzenberg, daughter of Dreamworks CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg in September 2012.[7]
