Mark Heyck (born 1976) is the current mayor of Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada, since 2012.

Born and raised in the Con Mine area of Yellowknife to a miner father,[1] Heyck studied history and Canadian studies at McGill University,[2][3][4] then returned to Yellowknife and volunteered as treasurer and vice-president for Folk on the Rocks (2000-2003) and serving on the Union of Northern Workers executive from 2002 to 2005 and website and multimedia coordinator at the Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre. He was also a council member of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities’ Green Municipal Fund and served as the president of the Western Arctic New Democratic Party riding association from 2000 to 2011. Heyck became a city councillor for Yellowknife City Council in 2003 and deputy mayor in 2006.
