Mariana Weickert (born February 17, 1982) is a Brazilian model affiliated to Ford Models. She was chosen by the German Vogue magazine for a 25 pages editorial with the main New York stylists. Lately she has been following a career of TV host.
Biography and career
Descendants of Germans both paternal part as maternal, Mariana Weickert ranks among the most sought after models in the country. Made fame and fortune around the world participating in fashion shows in Paris, Milan, London and New York City. Paraded and campaigned for brands as Alexander McQueen, Calvin Klein, Chanel, Ralph Lauren, Gucci, Roberto Cavalli Stella McCartney, Marc Jacobs, Givenchy, Louis Vuitton, Versace, Fendi and Armani, among others. He did editorials and covers for the "W", "The Face", "Visionaire", "FAB Magazine", English "Vogue", "Vogue" America among many others. In 2001 illustrated the month of May Pirelli calendar, photographed by Mario Testino. In 2004, Mariana dropped the model of life in the career peak and returned to live in Brazil; where he dedicated the TV.
Presented programs in MTV Brasil and Network 21.
Currently presents programs "Vamos Combinar"' and "'Desafio da Beleza' in the closed channel GNT. In 2013 signed the "Band" to be a presenter of the program "A Liga" with that Mariana has three programs in two different stations (GNT and BAND).
