Marguerite Irma Fournier

Marguerite Fornier was born 1916 in Oxford County, Maine, as the daughter of Gilbert Fournier and Irma L Fournier. She was a descendant of French immigrants. As a young Girl she moved to Paris, where she worked as an actress. In 1944 she married the Ottoman Prince Mehmed Orhan Efendi. This morganatic marriage divorced in 1948. She bore in 3 October 1943 a son, who was adopted by Prince Mehmed Orhan Efendi after the marriage and named Mehmed Selim Orhan.
