Margaret Edwards (born 28 March 1939)[1] is an English former competitive swimmer who represented Great Britain at the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne, Australia, where she won a bronze medal in the women's 100-metre backstroke in the time of 1:13.1.[2] Also, at the 1958 British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Cardiff, she won a silver medal in the women's 110-yard backstroke while representing England.[3]
