Marcos Caballero is a Paraguayan association footballer for Sportivo Ameliano in the Paraguayan Tercera Division. Caballero has played for the club for over a decade (since 2003) and has endured seasons in Paraguay's Third and Fourth divisions with the club.

Career

Before progressing to the first-team of Sportivo Ameliano, the player he played in the U20 youth team of the club.[2]

The player, who is from Sportivo Ameliano's youth system, scored 12 goals for the club's first-team during the 2003 season.[3] One of his goals was the deciding goal to give Sportivo Ameliano the win to ascend into the Paraguayan Third division.[4]

The player was the leading goal scorer of the Primera División C of 2008 with 11 annotations along with Alberto Cristaldo of Deportivo Recoleta.[5]

During the 2013 season, he scored a hat-trick against Club Oriental during the promotion play-offs in August.[6]

During May of the 2016 Primera División B Metropolitana, long time club striker Marcos Caballero scored in a 1–0 victory vs. Colegiales to put Sportivo Ameliano in the leading clubs at the top of the league table.[7]
