Manithaneya Makkal Katchi (மனிதநேய மக்கள் கட்சி) is a political party in Tamil Nadu, India. It focuses on Musilms and all other minority,backwarded dalit and all over peoples.[1] Founded in 2015 a socio-developmental organisation,Though started as a pan-Muslim outfit, it served all sections of Tamil society.

Manithaneya Makkal Katchi agenda of offering ‘alternative politics in Tamil Nadu’ – a term coined by . Since its inception, MMK’s sole motto has been ‘Nallavargal arasiyalukku vara vendum’ (Good people should enter politics).

For the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election, 2011 the party has joined the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam alliance and has been allocated 3 seats [2]

For the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election, 2016 the party has joined the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam(DMK) alliance. DMK allocated 4 Assembly seats to Manithaneya Makkal Katchi (MMK).[3]
