"Mailman, Bring Me No More Blues" is a song written by Ruth Roberts, Bill Katz, and Stanley Clayton, and was originally recorded by Buddy Holly in 1957. The song was part of the Beatles' live repertoire until 1962, but wasn't officially recorded by the group until January 1969, during the group's Get Back sessions; the songs recorded at these sessions would eventually be released as Let It Be in May 1970.[1]

During the Get Back sessions, the Beatles recorded many cover versions to songs, including this one. The song itself is slower than the version recorded by Holly, emphasizing the sad, blues lyrics in comparison to the upbeat original.[1]
