Maharishi University of Management and Technology is a private university with its main campus in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, India.[5][6] The University is established under Maharishi University of Management and Technology Act No. 10 of 2002 passed by the Legislature of Chhattisgarh State.[7]

Description

The university is accredited by the (UGC Act 1956[8]) University Grants Commission (India)[9] and was established by a special Act of the State Legislature of Chhattisgarh. Its purpose is education in the field of management and technology by using methodology based on the knowledge of Maharishi Vedic Management and Maharishi Vedic Science.[10] Maharishi University of Management and Technology is run and sponsored by Maharishi Shiksha Sansthan.[11] The University has campuses in Bilaspur, Raipur, Raigarh and Durg. Maharishi University of Management and Technology is a part of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji's worldwide organization . Maharishi Mahesh Yogi has introduced Consciousness-Based Education which is a system of education. [12]
