Mahamanikya

Mahamanikya (Mahamanipha,[1] 1330–1370) : Mahamanikya was kachari king who ruled Assam in 14th centuries. At that time, his kingdom centered on present-day Nagaon. He was greatest king and during his ruling time the great epic Ramayana was translated to Assamese verse Kotha Ramayana by Madhava Kandali.[2][3]
