Louis Alonzo "Lou" Young (c. 1894 – July 19, 1948) was an American football player and coach. He served as the head football coach at the University of Pennsylvania from 1923 to 1929, compiling a record of 49–15–2. Young played college football at Penn from 1912 to 1914, captaining the team in 1913.[1] He died at the age of 56 on July 19, 1948 in Philadelphia.[2]
