London Festival of Architecture

The London Festival of Architecture is a month-long event held in June, focusing on the importance of architecture and design in London nowadays.

It is organized by three initiating partners: New London Architecture, The Architecture Foundation, Royal Institute of British Architects and other leading cultural and academic institutions, but also architects, engineers, designers and artists.

It was first held in 2004 as the London Architecture Biennale, then in 2006, 2008 when it changed its name for London Festival of Architecture, then 2010 and 2012, continuing to grow. In 2013 the festival became an annual event.

The London Festival of Architecture features exhibitions and installations, talks and debates, open studios, tours, family activities, film screenings, student shows and architecture evenings which focus on the importance of architecture and design in London today.
