Llanwrda railway station serves the village of Llanwrda near Llandovery, West Wales. Opened by the Vale of Towy Railway in 1858, the station is on the Heart of Wales Line 38¼ miles (62 km) north east of Swansea. The station is located below street level at the end of a lane opposite the A40 that leads to the centre of the village.

All trains serving the station are operated by Arriva Trains Wales.

Services

There are four trains a day to Shrewsbury northbound from Monday to Saturday (plus a fifth to Llandovery) and five southbound to Llanelli & Swansea (the first train in each direction doesn't run on Saturdays); two services each way call on Sundays.[1]
