List of songs recorded by Bring Me the Horizon

Bring Me the Horizon performing in 2016.

Bring Me the Horizon are a British rock band from Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Formed in 2004, the group originally featured vocalist Oliver Sykes, guitarists Lee Malia and Curtis Ward, bassist Matt Kean and drummer Matt Nicholls.[1] Bring Me released the four-track extended play This Is What the Edge of Your Seat Was Made For in October 2004, credited as being written by all five members.[2] Full-length debut Count Your Blessings followed in 2006, which once again featured writing credits for the whole band.[3] Shifting from deathcore to a more traditional metalcore style, the band released Suicide Season in September 2008; once again, all five members were credited for writing,[4] although some members have claimed that Ward wrote very little of the material.[5] The album featured additional guest vocals by JJ Peters of Deez Nuts and Sam Carter of Architects, on "Football Season Is Over" and "The Sadness Will Never End", respectively.[6][7]

Ward left the band in March 2009 in the middle of a tour,[8] and was later replaced by former I Killed the Prom Queen and Bleeding Through guitarist Jona Weinhofen.[9] The new lineup recorded and released There Is a Hell, Believe Me I've Seen It. There Is a Heaven, Let's Keep It a Secret. in 2010, on which Weinhofen was co-credited for writing.[10] The album also featured guest performances by Lights (on "Crucify Me" and "Don't Go"), Josh Franceschi (on "Fuck") and Josh Scogin (on "The Fox and the Wolf").[11] Weinhofen left the band in early 2013 and was replaced by keyboardist Jordan Fish.[12] A few months later the band released their fourth album Sempiternal, which was the first to credit Fish for performance and songwriting; only Sykes and Malia were credited alongside the keyboardist for the latter.[13]

In 2014, Bring Me released a standalone single which marked a drastic change in style to a less aggressive genre of rock; "Drown", like Sempiternal, featured songwriting credits for Sykes, Malia and Fish.[14] The band also contributed the song "Don't Look Down", featuring rapper Orifice Vulgatron of Foreign Beggars, to the BBC Radio 1 Rescores: Drive album.[15] Fifth album That's the Spirit followed in September 2015, which again displayed the band's recent stylistic changes.[16]

Songs

Bring Me the Horizon frontman Oliver Sykes is credited with having written all of the band's lyrics since their formation.
Guitarist Lee Malia has been a constant member of the band, and is the only member besides Sykes credited for songwriting on every release to date.
Bassist Matt Kean and drummer Matt Nicholls have performed on every Bring Me the Horizon album to date and received writing credits on all but Sempiternal.
Guitarist and vocalist Jona Weinhofen joined the band in 2009 and performed on 2011's There Is a Hell, Believe Me I've Seen It. There Is a Heaven, Let's Keep It a Secret. before leaving in 2013.
Following Weinhofen's departure, the band added keyboardist Jordan Fish, who co-wrote and performed on Sempiternal in 2013 and That's the Spirit in 2015.
JJ Peters of Deez Nuts and Sam Carter of Architects performed additional vocals on 2008's Suicide Season, on the songs "Football Season Is Over" and "The Sadness Will Never End", respectively.
There Is a Hell... features additional vocals by Lights (on "Crucify Me" and "Don't Go"), Josh Franceschi (on "Fuck") and Josh Scogin (on "The Fox and the Wolf").
The band collaborated with rapper Orifice Vulgatron of Foreign Beggars in 2014 for the song "Don't Look Down".
