The Forbes 400 has been published annually since 1982, the List of members of the Forbes 400 can refer to the list published in any of those years. The combined legend net worth of the 2013 class of the 400 richest Americans is $2 trillion, up from $1.7 trillion in 2012.[1] The average net worth of a 2015 Forbes 400 member was $3.86 billion, down $60 million from 2014.[2] As of March 2015, the US has 536 billionaires.[3]
