• ^a Sources differ as to the number of tries scored by Núñez Piossek. His national federation, the Argentine Rugby Union (UAR), credits him with 30 tries in 28 Tests. Scrum.com credits him with 29 tries in 28 Tests.^[46] For the Pumas' Test against Chile on 25 April 2004 the UAR credits him with 3 tries^[47] while Scrum.com credits him with only two.^[46] Núñez Piossek also scored one try against the British and Irish Lions in 2005, but the UAR did not award test caps for this game, unlike the Home Unions.
