 JapanYakuza boss, the head of the Takumi-gumi and the number-three leader of the Yamaguchi-gumi, the largest yakuza syndicate,[29] arrested in 2010 on suspicion of compensating the relatives of a hitman who had been jailed for murdering a senior member of a rival yakuza syndicate, and sentenced to 10 months in 2011.[30]

 Italy — Boss of the Casalesi Camorra clan, arrested in 2009 for murder,[32] and sentenced to life in prison in 2011.[33]
 United States — Leading member of the Genovese crime family, convicted and sentenced to 10 years in 2011 for murder plot.[34]
 United States — Leading member of the Irish mob in South Boston, Massachusetts, convicted of murder in 2013.
