The following is a listing of all 30 current Major League Baseball (MLB) teams ranked by win-loss record percentage, accurate as of the end of the 2016 Major League Baseball season. The records do not count wins and losses recorded by a team's playing time in the National Association of Professional Base Ball Players (NAPBP). Counting MLB statistics, the New York Yankees have the highest win-loss record percentage, with .569. The Tampa Bay Rays have the lowest win-loss record percentage, with .462. The San Francisco Giants and Tampa Bay Rays have recorded the most and least overall wins, with 10,951 and 1,420, respectively. The Chicago Cubs lead the association with the most played games, with 21,060. Conversely, the Rays have played the least overall games, with 3,076.
