Schitt's Creek (advertised as Schitt$ Creek) is a Canadian television sitcom that premiered on CBC Television on January 13, 2015. The series airs in the United States on Pop (previously the TV Guide Network).[1] The series was created by Eugene Levy and Daniel Levy and produced by Not a Real Company Productions.[2] On January 12, 2015, CBC renewed the show for a second season.[3][4] On March 17, 2015, Pop announced that it would continue airing the show in its second season. [5] The second season premiered January 12, 2016, on CBC and premiered March 16, 2016, on Pop. The second season consists of 13 episodes.[6][7][8] On February 17, 2016, the CBC announced that they are renewing the show for a third season.[9] On March 3, 2016 Pop renewed the show for a third season. CBC will begin broadcasting the third season of the show on January 10, 2017. Pop network in the United States will begin its broadcast a day later, on January 11, 2017.[10]

The series stars Eugene Levy and Catherine O'Hara as Johnny and Moira Rose, a wealthy couple who are forced, after losing all their money, to rebuild their lives in their only remaining asset: the small town of Schitt's Creek, which they once purchased as a joke, where they are living with their two adult children in two adjacent rooms of a rundown motel.[11] The cast also includes Daniel Levy, Annie Murphy, Chris Elliott,[11] Jennifer Robertson and Emily Hampshire.

As of May 2016, 26 episodes of Schitt's Creek have aired in Canada and the United States.

They plan to try and sell the milk anyway with Mayor Schitt's help but get pulled over by cops who force them to dump out the raw milk on the road since it is illegal. David ends up helping Moira's opponent (the mayor's wife) select a wardrobe, which upsets Moira, saying he stabbed her in the back.
