List of One-Punch Man episodes
One-Punch Man is a Japanese anime series based on the webcomic created by One and its subsequent manga adaptation illustrated by Yusuke Murata. Set in run rampant, the story focuses on Saitama, a superhero who has grown bored as he has become so powerful that all of his battles end in a single punch. The series was directed by Shingo Natsume at Madhouse and was written by Tomohiro Suzuki.[1] The series also features character design by Chikashi Kubota, who also served as chief animation director, and music by Makoto Miyazaki.[2] The series aired in Japan between October 5, 2015 and December 21, 2015 and was simulcast by Daisuki and Hulu. The opening theme song is "The Hero!! ~Ikareru Ken ni Honō o Tsukero~" (THE HERO!! ～怒れる拳に火をつけろ～, "The Hero!! Set Fire to the Furious Fist") by JAM Project, and the ending theme is "Hoshi Yori Saki ni Mitsukete Ageru" (星より先に見つけてあげる, "I'll Find It Before the Stars for You") by Hiroko Moriguchi. The ending theme for episode 12 is "Kanashimi-tachi o Dakishimete" (悲しみたちを抱きしめて "Hug Those Who Are Feeling Sad") by Moriguchi.[2] An original video animation was released with the tenth manga volume on December 4, 2015.[3] Additional OVAs are included in Blu-ray Disc & DVD volumes of the series, which begin release from December 24, 2015.[4][5][6] The ending theme for the OVAs is "Saitama no WanPan Ondo" (サイタマのワンパン音頭 "Saitama's One-Punch Song"), performed by Makoto Furukawa. The series is licensed in North America by Viz Media, who also streamed the series on its Neon Alley service,[7] and in the United Kingdom by Kaze UK.[8] On television, the series began airing on Adult Swim's Toonami block on July 16, 2016.[9][10] The first season of the anime received overwhemingly positive reviews.

| A monster appears in the city and begins to wreak havoc. As it is about to kill a young girl, Saitama arrives and saves her. The monster introduces itself as Vaccine Man, and claims to have come into existence to eradicate mankind due to their pollution of Earth. Vaccine Man then transforms himself into a giant monstrosity, and Saitama proceeds to kill him with a single punch, after which he screams in frustration at his own strength. The episode then switches to a flashback, showing an unemployed Saitama's encounter three years previously with Crabrante, a man who gained crab-like features after eating too much crab. Crabrante spares him, explaining that it is hunting a boy with a large chin. Saitama promptly encounters the child, who is revealed to have drawn nipples on Crabrante with permanent marker while he was asleep. When Crabrante finds them, Saitama decides to protect the child, and kills the monster by ripping out its eyestalk with his necktie. As present-day Saitama reminisces about the events, a colossal man attacks the city. The giant man named Marugori (lit. "Beefcake"), is the result of an experimental steroid called "Biceps Brachii King", developed by his mad scientist older brother named Fukegao (lit. "Oldface"), who first appears riding on Marugori's right shoulder, commenting that this was incredible. The episode reverts to a flashback of Marugori having a workout in his older brother's lab, while Fukegao (who have just done inventing his steroid drug "Biceps Brachii King") ingested the drug to his little brother, claiming that this makes him the most powerful man on earth. Marugori immediately drinks it and grows rapidly at a high rate. Fukegao, who was just standing watching him growing fast remarks that this will do. The episode jumps back to the present-day Marugori, who was now a severely mutated giant, with Fukegao's arrogant statement that The Brain and the Brawn Brothers would have the greatest of mind and the strongest of the bodies and also remarked that they would rule the world as kings. The giant then swing his arm and the city was destroyed in an instant. Fukegao, observing, was astounded by the death of so many people that he motivates his younger brother to destroy the next town. Moments later, Saitama reappears riding on Marugori's other shoulder, the reason that Fukegao was shock. He orders Marugori to kill the guy on his shoulder, accidentally causing Fukegao's own death when his brother smacks the wrong shoulder. When Marugori investigates his own hand, he then freaks out in shock, saying that why this just happens to him and he just wants to be strong and when he saw Saitama on his left shoulder, he begins to enrage. The enraged Marugori first throw Saitama to the ground and he then jumps back with all of his raging heart and attacked Saitama with various blows, which leaves a giant hole. Marugori mourns for Fukegao after seemingly crushing Saitama and bemoans the fact that despite being the strongest man alive, he feels empty. Saitama, emerging unharmed, agrees that absolute power is boring and defeats the giant with a single punch, accidentally destroying City B when the giant falls on it. After Saitama's victory, he runs into a strange being looting an abandoned area. The monster reveals itself to be the Super Custom YO649Z Mk.ll, a being that loves custom cars to the point of wearing car parts in order to resemble one. Saitama takes out the monster with a single punch when it mentions his bald head. The next morning, he wakes up to find himself in the middle of an invasion of the surface by overpopulated Subterraneans, who have already exterminated 70% of humanity. Surprised by their strength, he deems them worthy opponents and engages them in a mighty battle. At the moment he has defeated a great number of them and is about to fight the Subterranean King, he wakes up to discover that it was a dream. Finding an actual invasion by the Subterraneans outside, he is disappointed when they quickly surrender after he easily defeats their king. After the credits, Genos is seen standing in a field of desiccated cow corpses. He then turns and begins walking towards the city. | ||||

| While Saitama waters his plants, the TV announces that the recent massive mosquito swarm is headed to City Z, where he lives. He attempts to kill a mosquito but fails each time. In the abandoned city, a looter taking advantage of the situation has his blood drained by the mosquitoes, which are being controlled by Mosquito Girl. She fights with Genos, who as a cyborg is not affected by the swarm, each taking a limb from the other. She then powers up by consuming the blood gathered by her swarm from the animals in the surrounding wilderness. This causes the battle between her and Genos to become one-sided, but she is killed in one hit by Saitama. Genos appears at Saitama's door a week later asking to be his apprentice. He explains his situation in a long-winded monologue which frustrates Saitama. Elsewhere, a man in a secret facility (who's name was Doctor Genus) analyzes Mosquito Girl's defeat and decides to capture Saitama for his experiments. Back in Saitama's apartment, Saitama and Genos' conversation is interrupted by the House of Evolution's messenger, who is promptly destroyed. After going outside, Saitama is yanked into the ground up to his neck by a mole monster. Genos faces off against another cyborg alone. Saitama escapes and quickly defeats his two opponents. He then questions the defeated cyborg, Armored Gorilla, who panics when he realizes the rest of his team has been destroyed. After the credits, Doctor Genus steps into a room full of worried subordinates discussing the fate of the team in City Z, when they turn around it is shown that they are all clones of him. | ||||

| The narration describes the story of Doctor Genus, a brilliant young scientist with ideas of artificially evolving humans who becomes disillusioned with the world, eventually discovering the secret to immortality and creating multiple clones of himself. Saitama cuts off the narration in his impatience and Armored Gorilla then explains that Doctor Genus wants Saitama for his experiments. Genos and Saitama decide to attack immediately, since a store is having a mega-sale the next day. Before they leave, Genos asks Armored Gorilla if he knows of any cyborgs active four years ago that have destroyed any towns, to which Armored Gorilla responds that he knows of none besides himself. In preparation for Saitama's arrival, the House of Evolution sets traps in all eight of the facility's floors and reluctantly decide to release Carnage Kabuto, its most powerful and uncontrollable creation. Once they arrive, Genos destroys the aboveground facility with a single blast (rendering all the traps useless) before heading underground. The released Carnage Kabuto (who has, by this time, already killed all of Dr. Genus' clones) fights with Genos, taking no damage in the process. Carnage Kabuto then faces off against Saitama, but quickly retreats when he senses Saitama's power. Saitama then reveals to Genos, Carnage Kabuto, and Dr. Genus his somewhat mundane daily training regimen of 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats and 10 km of running, much to their disbelief. Carnage Kabuto then enters his Carnage Mode and appears to pummel Saitama, extremely believing that Saitama would be defeated but it is shown that Saitama was actually in shock from the realization that the store mega-sale was really that day instead of the next, and he nonchalantly one-punched Carnage Kabuto into pieces, leaving afterwards with Genos to catch the rest of the sale. Having witnessed this, Doctor Genus abandons his plans of artificial evolution. After the credits, officials from the Heroes Association inspect the House of Evolution blast site and discuss Genos' destructive power. | ||||

| Hammerhead and his posse of bald villains, called the Paradisers, are sick of working and demand a welfare state. Ignored by pedestrians, Hammerhead decides to destroy the tower of Zeniru, the local business magnate, using modified suits that give the Paradisers super-strength. They destroy a building, only to find that it was the wrong one. Meanwhile, Saitama wakes from a strange dream and sees the Paradisers on the news. He figures the police will take care of them, but when the news report reveals that the Paradisers have bald heads, Saitama believes they stole his image and decides to defeat them. The scene cuts to Mumen Rider, a hero who bikes his way to stop the Paradisers. Hammerhead instantly defeats Mumen Rider and the bald villains proceed to Zeniru’s home, named the “Golden Turd” for the appearance of its roof. Zeniru sends the ninja Speed-o'-Sound Sonic to intercept the Paradisers. Sonic wipes the Paradisers in seconds, and launches a kunai in the back of Hammerhead’s skull. As Sonic turns to call Zeniru, Hammerhead escapes, thanking his thick skull for saving his life. Hammerhead runs into Saitama, who provokes Hammerhead to attack with his suit at full power. Saitama then destroys Hammerhead’s suit, and the villain flees naked. Sonic encounters Saitama, mistaking him for a Paradiser due to the latter's baldness. When Saitama introduces himself, Sonic says that he has never heard of him and attacks, but Saitama repels all of Sonic’s moves with ease. Eventually, one of Sonic’s attacks misses, resulting in the ninja landing crotch-first on Saitama’s fist. Quivering in agony, Sonic claims that he will fight Saitama again in the future. That night, Saitama sulks over his lack of recognition as a hero. Genos finds that Saitama is not listed in the Hero Registry. Genos agrees to take the Registry test with Saitama when the bald hero promises to make the cyborg his student. The scene shifts to Hammerhead, who appears to have been killed by the people from whom he stole the strength-enhancing suits, but has survived once again due to his thick skull. | Before they can become registered heroes, Saitama and Genos must first pass a physical and written test in order to prove that they have what it takes. Saitama easily passes the physical exam, breaking all the existing records along with most of the equipment. However, he performs poorly on the written section, passing by a single point, while Genos gets perfect scores on both and is given a special S rank, with Saitama receiving a C rank. Saitama and Genos then listen to an A class presenter teach a class on being a hero, though the pair are clearly stronger than their instructor. The teacher becomes annoyed with Saitama for not paying attention and tries to teach him a lesson, only to embarrass himself. Later that day, Genos asks to spar with Saitama, having received new upgrades. Genos still does not believe Saitama's secret training strategy and thinks there must be some other secret that even Saitama himself might not know. Genos does not hold back in the spar while Saitama deftly avoids his attacks and maintains his nonchalant demeanor, despite Genos wanting Saitama to give it his all. Saitama finally relents and gets serious, ending the fight instantly without even touching Genos; the latter realizes that Saitama is on another level that even he cannot reach by simply training. While the two eat dinner afterwards, Amai Mask meets with Genos to deliver a welcome gift and a warning. After the credits, Genos moves in with Saitama, to the latter's chagrin. | ||||

| Saitama is shown lazing about and reading manga as Genos studies his unorthodox training methods, recording his every move. Saitama contemplates how much of a pain it will be to keep up the charade of being Genos' master when the cyborg mentions his concern over his inactivity over the past few days; due to an overabundance of C-Class heroes, the Association eventually strike those who are inactive for more than a week from their registry. Shocked and horrified by this revelation, Saitama sets out on patrol. Genos wishes to accompany him but Saitama rebuffs his request, telling his pupil to train himself in patience. In reality, Saitama does not know how or in what way to instruct Genos. Having been out on patrol for two utterly uneventful days, Saitama becomes nervous, as this is his last day to avoid losing his official status. To make matters worse, Speed-o'-Sound Sonic shows up to settle their (imaginary) rivalry, only for Saitama to brush him off. Angered, Sonic attacks, only to have Saitama bite his sword in half. Greatly bewildered by these events, Sonic finds himself intimidated by the irked Saitama, who threatens to hit him just as a bystander sitting next to a boisterous upper-ranked hero revealing to be Tanktop Tiger, who reproaches Saitama's crazed antics; when the TanktTop began reveling in public adoration he later enticed Saitama to make a big deal out of it just to entice his own rise in popularity only to be cut down by a hail of exploding shuriken which sends the crowding masses into a panic. Recognizing Sonic to be the culprit, the assailant soon forces his hand by causing havoc around the populated area with a lethal bombardment. While still busy looking for hero work to do, Saitama realizes Sonic had provided him with the pick-me-up he needed and swiftly knocks the latter out cold, saving the day. Later that day around Saitama's old neighborhood, a mysterious being was seen skulking around frightening the few masses who lived in the desolate Z-City; perturbed at not being sent out to deal with it, Tatsumaki berates the assignment staff. They have already sent out A-Class' Golden Ball and Spring Mustachio out to the scene. In Z-City the two aforementioned heroes are busy patrolling the streets, wondering about a rumor of a pretty dangerous monster who lives in said area. After finding next to nothing on the job, they eventually find signs of said Mysterious Being and chase after it. Running into Kombu Infinity, who also heard rumors of a powerful group of monsters in the city, engaged the duo and easily swats the best efforts of both aside. Realizing they are outmatched, Mustachio dials for reinforcements just before he is swiftly defeated. Upset that his opponents were so weak, Kombu sets out to create the rumor he and his fellow monsters initially heard about; soon after Saitama returns from a market sale, when Kombu notices him as the former relents on not having been able to secure some kombu soup stalk just before the monster attacks him. When next seen, Saitama is just cooking some kombu soup when Genos comes in. After the credits, Genos tells Saitama that, while he's in 17th place within the S-class, he's ranked 7th in popularity, much to Saitama's dismay. Genos then starts reading some online comments about him, but a jealous Saitama tells him to stop. | ||||

| Just before an incident, scientists and astronomers are busy studying the flight pattern of a meteorite just as it passes over the earth. When its course suddenly changes trajectory a mass warning system breaks out that a huge meteor is about to strike City Z. A notice is sent out to all S-Class heroes to intercept the meteor. Genos receives the notice while at home, conversing with Saitama about hero rankings. However, only Genos arrives on the scene, followed by an aged S-Class hero, Bang. He tells Genos the meteor evacuation protocols have already began and that he should clear out before it is too late, Bang himself cannot leave the city due to family honor and personal reasons, and before he could formally introduce himself, Genos has already left. Genos theorizes that it is too late to evacuate, seeing the meteor approaching too fast. His resolutions affirmed when he realized that his master also lives in this city. Another S-Class hero, Metal Knight, shows up to test out a new weapon against the meteor but is uninterested in teaming up with another hero to avert the crisis. When his new weapon fails, Genos used his own prototype weapon on the meteor. Despite the overwhelming power displayed, he fails to stop the meteor. Saitama shows up and destroys the meteor with a single punch, impressing Bang and boosting Genos' admiration toward Saitama. However, the meteor shatters into several meteorites and still manages to destroy the city. The next day, Saitama learns that his rank has jumped from 300th to 5th, although he still remains a C-Class hero. Genos theorizes that, despite Saitama's S-Class achievement, people must have believed it was Genos and Metal Knight who had destroyed the meteor. After a quick discussion about threat levels and words of being a hero that inspires Genos, Saitama goes out to look for more crisis to boost his own rank. Much of the city is destroyed but despite that, there are zero casualties reported. Tanktop Tiger appears and believes Saitama has stolen credit for the meteor destruction. Tanktop Tiger calls his brother, Tanktop Blackhole, who begins to rally up a mob against Saitama, putting all the blame on him for the city's destruction. Tanktop Tiger attacks Saitama, who was later punched into the sky. Tanktop Blackhole attacks next, and Saitama catches his fist, crushing it. Saitama then moves on to the crowd, who were chanting for his resignation, and he shouts for everyone to shut up. Saitama clarifies that he is being a hero because he wants to and does not need to be appreciated for it. Genos appears and tells Saitama that it is time for them to go home, and speaking internally, despite what the world thinks of Saitama, he knows that his master is the greatest hero of all. After the credits, a myriad of creatures located under the sea discuss Saitama's victory over the meteor. | ||||

| The episode opens with an octopus-like monster announcing that the Sea-Folk are coming to the surface to kill all the humans. Saitama is on his way home from shopping and stops by to punch the messenger. Mumen Rider is late to the scene and sees only the destroyed body of the creature, and hears the crowd talking about Saitama. Mumen looks Saitama up on the internet and sees that he is powerful, but opinions are divided on him. At the coast, several large Sea-Folk monsters emerge from the sea, threatening City J. The Class A hero Stinger (rank 11) challenges them with his powerful Bamboo Shoot weapon. Meanwhile, Genos is drying dishes with his rocket hands as Saitama watches a news report about Stinger's battle against the Sea-Folk. They decide to head out to confront the threat. Back at the fight, Stinger takes out the last four Sea-Folk with a Gigantic Drill Stinger Quadruple Thrust attack, but is then bested by a new monster: Deep Sea King. Saitama, Genos, and Mumen Rider all set off to confront the threat. Genos splits off from Saitama to scout ahead. Various other heroes confront Deep Sea King to no avail, including Lightning Max (class A), Puri-Puri Prisoner (class S), and Sonic (not technically a hero). Sonic fights Sea King to a standstill, but when it starts raining, Sea King unleashes his true form and Sonic is forced to retreat. Meanwhile, Saitama and Mumen Rider meet each other on the way to the fight. Saitama goes off to find Sonic who he sees running naked through the rain. Mumen gets a phone call from Hero Association headquarters and goes to confront Sea King, who has broken into an emergency shelter and is dispatching the heroes there. Saitama returns to where he met Mumen Rider to find a discarded cell phone. The episode ends with Saitama telling the Hero Association he is on his way. | ||||

| As Saitama is waiting for the Hero Association to decide whether they want him to help fight the Sea King or not, Genos initiates battle, and seemingly defeats the monster with a massive attack. However, he lets his guard down and gets one of his arms ripped off. He tells the townspeople to run while he distracts the monster, since victory is no longer assured. He seems to be doing a good job, until the Sea King launches a glob of acid at a child, which Genos intercepts, and it melts his bionic body, nearly killing him. In that moment, right before the Sea King would have finished Genos off, Mumen Rider appears and engages the Sea King. He is defeated easily, but refuses to give up. Upon seeing this, the townspeople decide to encourage him, but to no avail. When Mumen Rider is knocked out, he is caught by Saitama, who had been instructed by the Association to provide backup and arrives in that exact moment. After exchanging a few words with the Sea King, he defeats him with a single punch, and is praised by the townspeople. Sonic also reappears with his weapons in a different part of town, but assumes the Sea King must have fled. Back at their apartment, Genos and Saitama get a delivery of fan mail from the Hero Association. Genos is praised, while Saitama gets a hateful letter, calling him a cheat. The episode reverts to a flashback from right after Saitama's victory. The townspeople are ecstatic to have been saved and are impressed by Saitama's swift victory. However, one of them starts badmouthing the other heroes, saying how they must have been frauds, no matter their rank, since they got beaten. His reasoning is that the Sea King could not have been that tough if a Class C hero defeated it in one punch. Upon hearing this, Saitama laughs, and downplays his victory to save the reputations of the other heroes by saying that he got lucky and the job was easy for him, since he came late and the monster had been weakened. He also tells the townspeople to care for the fallen heroes, so he can continue to cash in on their work. The townspeople accept him as nothing but a fraud, and thank the fallen for their work. Genos decides not to interfere with Saitama's decision, but promises to intervene if this choice were ever to push Saitama into a corner in the future. The episode jumps back to present time, and Saitama realizes he has another letter - this one only saying "Thank You!". He then finds a third letter from the Hero Association, telling him he is now 1st Rank C-class, and calling him in to discuss a promotion to B class. Saitama accepts, making him 101st Rank, B-class. The episode jumps to Amai Mask during what seems to be a photo shoot. One of his subordinates tells him that Saitama moved up a rank. Amai Mask seems to not care, as he is disappointed by the work of the A- and S-Rank heroes in the Sea King case. However, he changes his mind when he is told that Saitama was the one to actually defeat the monster. Meanwhile in the hospital, Lightning Mask and Stinger are recuperating, when Puri-Puri Prisoner enters, wanting to administer "Angel Shots" to the two. They escape, dropping the newspapers they had been reading, and Puri-Puri Prisoner is upset when he sees that he is called an "S-Rank Failure" in the news. The episode ends with Saitama walking home at night with his promotion. He encounters Mumen Rider in a roadside oden shop. Mumen Rider reveals he sent the thank-you letter and pays for Saitama's dinner. After the credits, Madame Shibabawa, a fortune teller, warns an official from the Hero Association that "the Earth is doomed". | ||||

| The Ancient King of the Terror Lizard Clan appears and Tatsumaki is sent to deal with him. After a short quarrel, Tatsumaki sends a meteor from outer space to destroy the monster. At Bang's dojo, Bang tells Saitama and Genos, who were called there by Bang to learn some moves, about how his former best student, Garo, went wild and defeated all of his other top students. Suddenly, a Hero Association member comes and informs the heroes that an emergency has been declared and all S Class heroes have been called to a meeting. At the association, Saitama meets Atomic Samurai, an arrogant S Class hero, and others (Puri-Puri Prisoner, Metal Bat, Tanktop Master, Flashy Flash, Watchdog Man, Superalloy Blackluster, Pig God, Drive Knight, Zombieman, King, Child Emperor). Sitch, a member of the associations, starts the meeting by telling the heroes that the emergency would be perilous and even with their skills, there is no guarantee of survival. Also, the great seer, Madame Shibabawa, had died while becoming agitated and choking on a cough pill because of a coughing fit while predicting the future. Sitch mentions that Shibabawa's predictions have always been 100% accurate, be it monster attacks or natural disasters. Before she died, she left a note, thought to be her greatest prophecy. The note read "The Earth is in trouble", alarming the heroes. He warns the heroes to prepare for a fight in the next 6 months. Just after he says this, the HQ is attacked by Tengu-like creatures, who are quickly slain by Melzalgald, a member of the Dark Matter Thieves. An alien spacecraft then proceeds to destroy City A, causing a large number of casualties. Just as Melzalgald is about to kill some civilians, Iairon, a student of Atomic Samurai, arrives and engages him in battle. Saitama encounters the alien ship and advances towards it, avoiding some projectiles thrown at him and damaging the ship. Meanwhile, Melzalgald proves to be a challenge for Iaian and causes him to lose his left arm before Atomic Samurai intervenes, saving his student from death. Melzalgald, however, regenerates and the heroes' attacks seem to cause no damage to him. Then, Metal Bat, Bang and Puri Puri Prisoner arrives. Puri Puri Prisoner enters Angel style and attacks Melzalgald. Elsewhere, the other S Class heroes discuss how to bring down the ship. As they offer differing views, Genos notes that Saitama has already entered the ship and slain a large number of the aliens. He comments that there is no evil that Saitama is unable to defeat. Saitama encounters Groribas, an alien, bragging how to defeat him. But is slain, as Saitama punches at everything and continues to destroy the ship, wondering where the boss might be. At the end, Boros is seen on his throne. | ||||

| Geryuganshoop complains about Groribas' defeat as he and Melzargard are the only ELITE fighters left on the ship. Lord Boros walks in and Geryuganshoop informs Lord Boros that the ship is badly damaged by the human intruder but Lord Boros tells him not to fear as the sphere keeping them safe won't allow that to happen. Meanwhile, below the ship, Puri Puri Prisoner's efforts were futile as Melzargard simply regenerates back into his form. Iaian tells the other heroes that it is pointless to keep trying. Melzargard tells his other head to go and contact the ship for a bombardment. As the head flies away, Metal Bat smacks him down. Melzargard and Geryuganshoop telepathically tell each other that both sides are dealing with big trouble as Saitama reaches another door. Atomic Samurai, Puri Puri Prisoner and Bang join forces and attack Melzargard together as Iaian tells them once more that direct hits have no effect on it. He tells them to retreat and think of a better way to handle the situation. Atomic Samurai, Puri Puri Prisoner, Bang and Metal Bat keeps attacking Melzargard telling Iai it is the only thing they know. Melzargard and Genryuganshoop again speak telepathically saying the life forms below are persistently attacking him and requested for a cleansing bombardment. Genryuganshoop is too busy but notifies the artillery crew. Genryuganshoop leaves the conversation and while Melzargard was distracted, Metal Bat finds a marble within Melzargard before he could regenerate thus destroying the marble and part of Melzargard for good. Genryuganshoop tries to lead Saitama out of the ship and Saitama went the opposite direction to find the controls room. He finally finds Genryuganshoop who has incredible telepathic powers that can manipulate everything and anything but in the end Saitama throws a pebble at him that destroys Genryuganshoop. After busting the other heads, the four heroes look up with shell bombardment ready to attack. After it shoots, Tatsumaki appears and stops the bullets in mid air, cursing the other four heroes fighting Melzargard. She then turns the bullets and forces them back onto the ship full force. Mumen Rider helps evacuate a victim to safety, when Stinger and Lightning Max appear wanting to help too. Bang on the other hand finds another marble and crushes it. Angry, Melzargard slaps the concrete along with Bang, who takes a direct hit. He sticks on a building, unconscious. With one more head left, Melzargard threatens to crush Atomic Samurai's head and he retaliates after seeing his comrade in that condition. Saitama finds Lord Boros who scans him for power, saying Saitama is Earth's strongest warrior with limitless energy. Lord Boros treats Saitama with respect and tells him his name and the prophecy that brought the Dominator of the Universe to Earth. Saitama punches Lord Boros after being annoyed with what he heard, telling him he can't attack other planets just to liven up his boring life. Lord Boros' armor used to seal in his immense power breaks apart and his true form emerges. | ||||

| Boros continues to fight with Saitama, which leads to Boros losing an arm. The fight continues on, even reaching the point where Saitama finds himself on the moon, but he quickly returns. Meanwhile, Mumen Rider, Stinger and Lightning Max rescue the last of the survivors. The fight between the heroes and Melzargard concludes when Bang recovers and destroys his final marble, killing him. The fight between Saitama and Boros continues and it is revealed that Boros has regenerative powers. Eventually, they are both forced to use their most powerful moves. Saitama emerges victorious, and Boros admits he was not even close to Saitama. After the fight, Drive Knight warns Genos that Metal Knight is his enemy. Amai Mask appears and blames the S-class heroes for the destruction of the city, nearly causing a fight which is interrupted by Metal Knight who emerges to salvage parts of the ship. Meanwhile Blackluster discovers alien survivors whom Amai Mask promptly executes; Genos sees his past self in Amai Mask. Saitama emerges from the ship to find Tornado having a tantrum, and Genos quickly begins an argument with her; Bang interrupts before it can escalate into a fight. The parts Metal Knight salvages from the ship are used to rebuild the hero HQ which takes the place of city A which is wiped off the map. The A and S Class heroes are invited to stay in the newly rebuilt hero HQ. In a post-credits scene Saitama destroys Pluton (the king of the underworld) with one punch, much to his irritation. | ||||

| When during his third year of training, Saitama (who still has hair and his costume is a blue track suit) has defeating numerous villains in the abandoned area in Z-City but still having problems with rent money (and continued harassment from the landlady who says he's 3 months overdue), Saitama speaks with a shop owner who is being forced by a local gang to surrender his store's deed. Several other shops have gone out of business and his store is the last one; a conversation between the gang boss and one of his stooges reveal that the boss has had an impulse to buy out all the stores in the area to destroy them. Saitama gives counsel to the clothes-shop owner to not give up, and the clothes-shop owner points him the direction of the gang's base which turns out to be Saitama's apartment complex. He goes door to door meeting various criminals who work under the boss, but has no real interest until he hears them each mention a reward that's on their heads and soundly beats them. The boss is the only one left, after Saitama tells about no need for overcharging, the boss loses it and transforms into a villain called Fish of Darkness. Saitama and the boss have a brief fight, until the boss mentions the reward on his head is greatest, upon which Saitama defeats him easily. Saitama returns to the landlady, saying he's called the police on the criminals living in her apartment in exchange for the reward to pay the rent, but she promptly throws him out after he arrested nearly all of her former tenants. Saitama is later found by the shop owner and explains to him what happened, but he states that he was getting too old and has decided to close the shop anyway, but not before finishing a masterpiece that he made for Saitama (which turns out to be Saitama's hero outfit). Now in the present after hearing his story, Genos impulsively tells Saitama to get a better suit, but Saitama asks him if he was really listening when he explained his suit was also a memento. | ||

| After the battle with Mosquito Girl, Genos tails Saitama as he goes about his daily life in the hopes of finding out the secrets behind his overwhelming strength. This in turn leads Saitama to believe he has a stalker after Genos takes one of his french fries for research. Saitama soon comes across Men's Esthetician Man, believing him to be the stalker and knocking him out. After his research goes nowhere, Genos decides to confront Saitama about his apprenticeship offer. | ||

| After spending some time together in a communal bath, Saitama gives Genos a key to their apartment and they both mull over items to buy for dinner; however, upon remembering a limited time sale at two separate supermarkets, the pair split up. Genos then senses a monster at a nearby shopping strip and defeats it. However, this makes him miss one of the sales. Once he reaches the other (closed down) supermarket, Genos bumps into the Dai Fuu Family's No. 2 man and the rival C-Class Pacino Family, headed by Don Pacino. Pacino mistakenly believes Genos is associated with the Dai Fuu Family; he steals the apartment key and kidnaps both men, promising to let them and the keys go once Genos states his case. Once Genos finishes telling his roundabout and ultimately worthless story to the Pacino family, Don Pacino becomes angry with Genos and the family opens fire. Genos easily defeats them and takes his key and the Dai Fuu Family's No. 2 man with him. After explaining his tardiness to Saitama, the pair enjoy some sukiyaki. | ||

| After the events of episode 4, Sonic finds himself troubled that he cannot fight properly after his defeat at the hands of Saitama. Training in a forest with a Matagi who is looking to kill a bear that scarred him, Sonic rescues a baby boar from a snake that quickly bonds with him. Naming the boar Ino, Sonic continues training, gradually regains his confidence, and eventually leaves the Matagi and Ino, ready to fight Saitama again. Suddenly, the bear who scarred the Matagi (whose name is Frank) appears, only for Saitama to show up (he had previously heard of an influx of bears in the forest, and was hoping to have bear meat for dinner). Sonic silently watches over the city, ready for his next battle with Saitama, while Frank and Ino look with amazement at the forest cleared with a single punch. | ||

| After the events of episode 7, Bang begins to spy on Saitama and Genos to gauge their abilities. Hopeful that his Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist martial arts is stronger, and that proving so will coerce Saitama and Genos to study under him, Bang invites Saitama and Genos to his dojo under the pretense of giving them free meat. Soon, Bang challenges Saitama to a variety of games, including card-based memory games and rock-paper-scissors, with Bang winning almost every time. During one rock-paper-scissors match, an enraged Saitama nearly crushes Bang with a hammer, who is then forced to admit that Saitama is truly powerful. He does note, however, that the rock-paper-scissors game was the most excited he had ever seen Saitama be, and offers Saitama to join his dojo. Saitama refuses. | ||

| After Fubuki and the Blizzard Group get rid of one of Deep Sea King's leftover henchman, they are disheartened to learn that their heroism didn't make the next day's newspaper but everyone else's (including Tatsumaki) did. Fubuki takes this the hardest, and decides to go on a train ride to City Z to clear her thoughts. Genos, coincidentally, happens to also be on the same train with groceries. Later during the ride, Genos receives a call that an ex-Hero planted a bomb on the train and that it will detonate once it reaches the train station. Fubuki evacuates the panicked civilians off the train while enlisting the help of a budding, C-class hero to find the bomb; Genos tries to slow down the train from the outside. As Fubuki evacuates the C-class hero and hesitates while thinking about what to do with the bomb, Tatsumaki appears and successfully allows the train to detonate with no casualties; Fubuki once again expresses envy towards her older sister's actions. On the walk back, Fubuki meets up with the C-class hero, who expresses gratitude for Fubuki's actions and wishes to join Fubuki's group once she reaches B-class. Genos, meanwhile, visits Dr. Kuseno asking for psychic augmentation. The OVA ends with Saitama wondering why Genos is so late. | ||

| The episode starts at the Hero Association's hot spring resort with the heroes that participated in the largest alien invasion had found Zombieman murdered on the floor. Child Emperor states one of the S-Class heroes is the culprit. The scene then flashbacks the day before the murder had happened which all heroes are invited to stay overnight at the resort. The heroes enjoyed themselves in the hot spring. Metal Bat which wasn't satisfied that some of the heroes that did not participate in the battle (Flashy Flash, Pig God, Watchdog Man) got invited as well. As they were also dealing with other monster cases, they get certain rewards as well. After the hot spring, Sitch gathers all the heroes into a celebration of the victory against the invasion. Few heroes became drunk after drinking the sake and disgusted Child Emperor. Who is later asked by Zombieman whether or not he's enjoying himself. The scene returns to the murder. Child emperor gathers some of the evidence and tries to eliminate one and another to find out the truth. One of them being the weapon which stabbed Zombieman which is Atomic Samurai's sword. He then interrogates a few other heroes including Saitama which asked Zombieman if he is truly immortal and finally asked King for more information. King tells him and shows brief moment of his witness and shows a menacing face which scared Child Emperor a bit. Suddenly, Tatsumaki burst out of the door and is about to restrain everyone for being suspects of the murder when Zombieman wakes up. He then reveals that Atomic Samurai's katana was floating with green light surrounding it similar to Tatsumaki when she is flying. Child Emperor then interrogates Tatsumaki what was she doing last night and predicted that she was drunk for all that sake. She angrily opposes that she knew Zombieman cannot be killed and wouldn't do such things. Bang steps up and calms her down and that everything's fine now that Zombieman is fine once again. Everyone then disbanded. Sitch then asked Child Emperor to look at a footage of a surveillance camera of last night. It shows that Tatsumaki is the culprit and she was very drunk. When walking home, Saitama was wondering why would Tatsumaki stab Zombieman. Genos knew it was Saitama's fault but doesn't tell him. It reveals that Saitama told Tatsumaki that she is a child and shouldn't drink Adult sake. Feeling humiliated, Tatsumaki takes revenge by drinking as much as she could. | ||
