(Overnight)[2]
Agnes learns that her son, Dermot has split up with his girlfriend, Maria because he does not wish to move in with her and look at houses with her. Grandad also receives a visit from Dr. Flynn, who asks to do a rectal reading. This results in Grandad getting a thermometer stuck in his posterior. Agnes becomes concerned over Dermot, and talks to Cathy about the situation. However, when she says she wants to try and sort out the situation, Cathy tells her to stay out of it. Agnes does not listen, and talks to Maria before asking her to apologise for upsetting Dermot. Maria states she has misunderstood the situation, and when Dermot arrives home, she tells him to "get stuffed". Winnie talks about sex and vibrators when Cathy announces at the local pub she has a date. Betty proposes Cathy give Dermot and Maria a counselling session, which Agnes does not agree with. Cathy goes ahead with the counselling, and stages a fake fight with Agnes, which results in Dermot proposing to Maria.

(Overnight)[3]

Mrs. Nicholson, Dermot's soon to be mother-in-law, pays a visit, and on seeing the Browns, believe that they are rednecks and relocates the wedding to Italy. Betty has kicked Mark out because he turned down a promotion to supervisor; the reason being that he is illiterate. Rory attempts to come out of the closet but Agnes does not understand him. And finally, Cathy is keeping her boyfriend a secret.

(Overnight)[4]

With Dermot and Maria's wedding just weeks away, the Brown household is in crisis. Dermot wants to ask his childhood friend, Buster, to be best man, but Agnes has set her heart on Mark filling the position. And Buster is a crook of whom both the strong-willed Maria and Agnes strongly disapprove. On top of this, Agnes's best friend and neighbour, Winnie, is distraught. Her husband Jacko has been rushed to hospital and cannot possibly afford to pay for the operation he urgently needs. And, needing cash for the wedding, Dermot has allowed himself to get embroiled in one of Buster's stupid - and dodgy - money-making scams. It's time for Mrs. Brown to exercise all her diplomatic skills, starting with "accidentally" letting Maria know all about Dermot's best man decision.

Note: This is the first TV appearance of the break out character, Buster Brady.
44"Mammy Rides Again"Ben KellettBrendan O'Carroll10 May 20112.99
(Overnight)[5]

Agnes and Winnie are excited about going to Maria's hen party, until Cathy tells them they are not invited because they are too old. Undeterred, Agnes decides she'll crash the event and show the girls that she and Winnie are not too old to party. All she has to do is find out where the party is being held. Agnes thinks her luck is in when Dermot tells her that the girls are meeting at local pub, Foley's. But when Agnes bursts into the pub in full hen party attire it becomes clear that Dermot "may" have misinformed her. That night, after bringing a huge dildo to a funeral, Agnes mistakenly invites Maria's mother to dinner. Finding out that Mrs. Nicholson is so sophisticated that she has two toilets in her house, Agnes has one fitted in an understairs cupboard in order to impress her. Despite this, and despite drafting in Rory's cordon-bleu friend Dino to cook dinner, on the night Agnes is incredibly nervous and turns to drink. With Agnes incredibly desperate to delight Mrs. Nicholson, the evening descends into chaos as the drink takes hold, the aftermath of Agnes's hen party mistake plays out, and Grandad decides to go to the toilet in the wrong cupboard, and he gets caught in the element of surprise.

Note: This is the first TV appearance of Rory's boyfriend, Dino Doyle.
55"Mammy of the Groom"Ben KellettBrendan O'Carroll22 November 20112.96
(Overnight)[6]
Dermot and Maria's wedding is just days away and tensions are running high in the Brown household. The groom is getting cold feet. His best man, Buster, cannot find anything good to say about Dermot in his speech. And to cap it all Agnes is mystified why Cathy has given her a book on homosexuality - is she trying to tell Agnes that one of the family is gay? When Dermot's pre-marriage nerves get the better of him, he locks himself away in a cupboard. Father Quinn is bemused to have to give Maria and Dermot their pre-marriage talk in slightly unusual circumstances - with the mother of the groom in attendance and the groom himself in a cupboard. Buster finally finishes his speech and to Agnes's delight it's very touching - so touching that it draws Dermot out of his hideaway. On the morning of the wedding, Agnes takes a moment to lament her son flying the nest. But this only lasts a moment before Dermot asks her if he and Maria can live with her. Meanwhile, Agnes goes on a hunt for the homosexual in the family - until eventually she realises it is son Rory. With help from Cathy and a greetings card, Agnes reassures him as only she can, that she loves him whatever his sexual orientation.
66"Mammy's Miracle"Ben KellettBrendan O'Carroll2 December 20114.10
Agnes thinks everyone has gone mad. Father Quinn is losing his faith as fast as he loses parishioners, newly-weds Dermot and Maria will not stop fighting, and Grandad has decided he wants to stage his own funeral. He's keen to hear all the nice things people say about the deceased at funerals, but before he's actually dead. Maria tells Agnes why she and Dermot have been arguing so much - she thinks they should move out of the Brown household but Dermot is resisting. Dermot, meanwhile, is scheming with Buster to make some quick cash so he can afford a first home for him and Maria. However, their plotting comes to an abrupt end when Cathy and her policeman boyfriend turn up unexpectedly. After some discussion the Browns decide to make Grandad happy by secretly staging his funeral. However, their plans go awry when Agnes mistakes two Mormons for the men who are supposed to be delivering the coffin. Later realising these are the preachers who have been pinching Father Quinn's parishioners, Agnes decides to teach them a lesson.
