Chip is in the room by himself and Caleb walks in asking for more romantic advice; Caleb explains his situation for him feeling jealous. Back in the dorm room, Sun Hi has had it with Linc and is not going to perform with Linc even if she doesn't get a chance to perform at Band Blast. With help from her friends, Sun Hi says goodbye to Linc for good. Chip and Jared have their duel with water balloons, which the girls get word of and wonder where Chip learned jealousy. Chip is leading the assault, launching balloons at everyone, but Jared doesn't fight because it's for Corki's academic sake to win Think Fest. He leaves, but Chip launches one more balloon. However, Jared catches it and ends up leaving again, but trips and accidentally tosses the water balloon, hitting Chip, who ends up short-circuiting. When the girls arrive to see what Jared has done, Corki becomes enraged at him.

Corki is devastated over the death of Chip. Jared apologizes, but Corki won't forgive him. She knows that if her father finds out, he will make her leave Mackendrick Prep. Jared offers Corki his help, but she refuses it. While they see the tragedy, Jodi asks Sun Hi how she is going to fire Linc from the band, and Sun Hi says she has a plan. Jodi arrives at the Hye Jung Ko shop with a cupcake which is for her and Caleb's textiversary. She later gives him the cupcake and he adds sparklers to the cupcake to make it more special, but they set off the smoke alarm and sprinklers. Sun Hi finds Linc walking the hallways and tries to break up the band, but Linc says sorry for being harsh and rough on Sun Hi. He believes they're better together than apart, shocking Sun Hi over the fact that he apologized. Corki tries fixing her robot, but she can't because Chip is in pieces. Valerie tries cheering her up by showing Jodi her secret project: a lemur that Valerie taught sign language. Corki goes back into the dorm room on her computer searching online to find ways on how to hide her failures from her father. Jared walks into the room dressed as a robot seriously hoping to help Corki win Think Fest, but Corki thinks it's a joke. Mr. Chang video calls Corki to check on her progress. She tries to hide the fact that Chip is wrecked and Jared intervenes trying to impersonate Chip. Mr. Chang tells Corki he has no doubt she'll win with Chip, not with Jared, and hangs up. Jodi, Caleb, and Alex try to clean up the mess caused at the store. While Jodi and Caleb go back to the dorm room to salvage some supplies, Alex stays at the store to see what can be saved. Jodi and Caleb arrive at the dorm and get the supplies they need, but Jodi sees Corki in distress and tells Caleb to go without her because she wants to help Corki. Corki says it's hopeless for her to finish the robot in time, but Sun Hi says it's not hopeless if they work together. The girls are able to rebuild Chip. Sun Hi then gives firing Linc another go. Sun Hi was able to speak, but Linc interrupts again saying that he is sorry for making Sun Hi sing backup and that they are equals as a duo. He also has booked a concert at RyRi and gotten Sun Hi more followers. Jodi, Caleb, and Alex are still cleaning up the store, but Hye Jung arrives. Jodi is trying to explain the situation, but Caleb tries to take the blame, and then Alex ends up taking the fall, taking all the responsibility and says Jodi deserves the internship. The Think Fest competition rolls around and the judges are viewing everyone's projects. Valerie is showing off her lemur while Heather interferes by saying the lemur doing sign language is fake, making the judges leave with disappointment. The judges then come to Corki and she shows off Chip, explaining that she programmed Chip to be the perfect boy, but instead it has helped her realize what it needed was to be the perfect friend. It has also helped the girls realize that they should help each other. Sun Hi asks Jodi and Caleb if they want to reunite XO-IQ and participate in Band Blast. They agree, and all that is left is to convince Corki. The judges see that Sun Hi posted a video online with her and Jodi helping Corki fix the robot, but the rule is that the entrant must work on their project alone, so Corki is disqualified. Heather ends up winning Think Fest with her potato batteries. Corki calls her father apologizing for disappointing him, but he isn't disappointed nor mad at Corki. He saw that Corki's robot was a huge achievement and wants to take it away from Corki to make it his prototype to release all around the world to help those in need. Mr. Chang realizes he should trust Corki, and he allows her stay at Mackendrick Prep and return to the band. XO-IQ, officially back together, celebrates. The girls ask about Linc, and Sun Hi says she already fired him via a text message, but Linc hears the conversation outside the dorm room. He looks at the text and notices that Sun Hi made a typo: instead of typing that she can't work with him, she typed that she can't walk with him. XO-IQ gets ready for their band reunion concert, and they perform at Club RyRi. Once they finish performing, Sun Hi sees an outraged Linc leaving in the back.

Sun Hi wakes up in the middle of night and realizes that her text message to Linc contained a typo. The next day, Sun Hi's identical twin sister, Sun Mi, walks around school and Linc confronts her and calls her out. Sun Mi is very confused about the situation and decides to apologize in Sun Hi's place, takes the blame, and asks how she can make it up to him. Linc tells Sun Mi to quit her band and join his and meet on the rooftop for rehearsal. Sun Mi agrees very quickly, leaves, and makes Linc very confused. Sun Mi sneaks into the girls' room and she finds some of Sun Hi's clothes. She takes some of the clothes and changes to make her appearance like her sister. Corki is showing her father around the school to showcase some of the events that are taking place during Family Week. Jared walks in and figures this is the only way to impress Mr. Chang, through magic because it's a universal language. He does a disappearing magic trick with Mr. Chang's family heirloom watch, but isn't able to make it reappear. Jodi and Caleb are wondering how to fix the wet, destroyed clothes at the Hye Jung Ko store. Corki is in the dorm room and Jared walks in and confesses that he can't find Mr. Chang's watch. Corki says that he has to find the watch because it was a gift from her grandmother. Sun Mi walks in and Corki tells Sun Mi that Jared lost her father's watch. Sun Mi offers to help find it, but both Corki and Jared find it strange. Sun Mi asks about the rooftop to meet Linc. Corki guesses that Linc and Sun Hi have worked out their problems and feels proud of her changed character. Jodi and Caleb wash the destroyed clothes separately and lay them flat to dry. Jodi leaves Caleb in charge to unfold more of the clothes while she looks for more dry rags. Heather walks in as Caleb realizes he'll be late for class and leaves. Heather, wondering why the wet clothes are laying flat out and not in the dryer puts them in. Corki and Jared retrace their steps to find the lost watch. Corki suggests it may be in the trash, so Jared searches in the trash can. Sun Hi walks by Corki and Jared and asks what they are doing. Corki asks her if she remembers asking to help them and being sweet and helpful, but Sun Hi doesn't recall any of it. Ms. Diona informs Sun Hi that her parents can't make it to Family Week, but her sister is coming instead. Sun Hi is able to put the pieces together as to why everyone is acting so weird. Sun Mi meets Linc on the roof and he explains that they have booked a gig at Club RyRi and for Sun Hi to make it up to him, she has to sing backup, to which Sun Mi agrees. Jodi and Caleb arrive back at the dryer room only to find out that the clothes are missing. Caleb ends up finding them in the dryer shrunken. Sun Hi sees that Linc is hanging up posters about the performance, and she knows well enough that she is not singing backup and knows that it was Sun Mi's doing. Corki and Jared are trying to find the watch with no luck. Corki receives an emergency text from Sun Hi and leaves Jared behind. Jodi is trying to sew all the shrunken dresses into a big dress, hoping Hye Jung will like it, but she receives the same emergency text from Sun Hi, telling her to meet up at Club RyRi. When Jodi, Corki, and Caleb arrive they don't notice anything wrong except that Sun Hi singing backup for Linc. Sun Hi arrives and informs them that it's not her, but her twin sister and explains everything. To save her own reputation she shuts down Linc's show, introducing him to Sun Mi. The crowd wants a show, so XO-IQ performs. Later, Jared sees Mr. Chang and apologizes and confesses that he lost the watch and couldn't find it after looking for it all day. Mr. Chang appreciates Jared's honestly the great lengths Jared went to looking for his watch, but Mr. Chang shows Jared that he had the watch the entire time and sees that Corki is very important to Jared. On top of the roof, Linc thinks that Sun Hi and Sun Mi were plotting against him the whole in order to embarrass him in front of the whole school. He doesn't care anymore and says that Sun Hi ruined his performance a second time in front of the whole school. Linc then decides that he is going to start his own band to make sure that everyone forgets XO-IQ.

Sun Hi screams at Sun Mi that her life was great until Sun Mi showed up. Sun Mi just brushes it off and goes to brush her teeth. Corki arrives and Sun Hi gives her a mission: Corki must spy on Linc and his future band to see what XO-IQ will be facing. Corki says she can't do it because when confronted she is a horrible liar. Sun Hi says that this would be a great experience for her and she is doing Corki a favor. XO-IQ is at Club RyRi ready to rehearse and Jodi and Caleb are talking. Jodi is worried that Hye Jung might not like the dress she made for her and Caleb is wondering if Jodi has the time to meet his parents. Corki begins to spy and Linc, who is handing out fliers for his band auditions. Linc is looking for someone who can play bass or keyboard. Corki is recording audio about Linc's band status until Ms. Diona catches her. Corki tries lying by saying she is just recording a few words. Ms. Diona thinks it was beat poetry and ends up embarrassing herself in front the students. Jodi gets to the Hye Jung store and tells Hye Jung that the clothes shrunk and made a dress out of them. Hye Jung doesn't seem to be able to express her emotions and goes to the back. Caleb texts and asks Jodi if she is coming back to meet his parents, but she tells him it might be a while. Sun Hi starts pulling pranks on Sun Mi and Corki walks in giving her report to Sun Hi. She tells Sun Hi that Linc is short a member and asks if Sun Hi can spy on him instead. Sun Hi refuses because she is too busy having a petty fight with her sister. Caleb is showing his parents around the school and Jodi calls him. She says she'll be at the school soon, but Hye Jung stops her and says that she likes the dress and wants to debut a new line by having a teen fashion show, which ends up being a huge problem for her. Corki is still spying on Linc while trying to stay hidden. She goes in a supply closet and sees Alex. Alex tells Corki that he is practicing, but Corki says that it was out of his character to be so perfect. Alex explains that he is chill about everything except his music. Corki then lies after Alex asks what she is doing. She changes the subject and asks if Alex has ever played in a band. He says he never has and asks if anyone is looking for a keyboard player. Corki doesn't want to lie or tell him anything, but she tells Alex about Linc's band auditions and about Band Blast. Alex thinks this would be a good idea, but thinking he is not ready yet, he asks her for advice because she used to be so shy. She asks Alex to play his music and he gets nervous, but Corki explains she needs to know what she is working with. After a music number, Linc sees Alex performing and automatically admits him into his band. Shocked, Corki tells the girls that Alex joined Linc's band. Sun Hi is going to explode, but Sun Mi calms her down and they have a sister bonding moment. Jodi visits Caleb and finally meets his parents, apologizing for being so busy. Caleb's parents don't mind because they are proud that Caleb is dating such a hard-working person. Later, Jodi wants to stop by to see Alex. When she visits his dorm room, Darmala says Alex is not available. Jodi recognizes Darmala and says that he is the drummer of Linc's band. Jodi tells Darmala to leave a message for Alex, which he is more than happy to do. He also asks Jodi for her number and Jodi says that Alex already has his number, but Darmala wants Jodi's number, leaving Jodi in shock.

Jodi returns to the dorm and Sun Hi asks why she was out so late. Jodi explains that she wants to see Alex because she is confused. The next morning, Sun Hi asks Sun Hi Nation for help to pick a song for XO-IQ's Band Blast submission. Linc interrupts, saying that those songs aren't eligible because the Band Blast rules indicate that bands can't submit a song they posted online, which causes a huge problem because Sun Hi posts everything online. Jodi is sewing some dresses for the fashion show and Corki wants to help her. Jodi states that she needs a fashion venue to host the show because Club RyRi is booked. Corki says she'll see what she can do. Corki leaves and Alex visits Jodi right after saying he received the message from Darmala. Jodi asks Alex why he joined the band and Alex reveals that he is not the competitive type, so if Linc's band loses Band Blast he won't mind. He then tells Jodi to text him if she needs anything, to which Jodi is very grateful. Corki is going to Ms. Diona's office to see if she can open the gym for the fashion show. After overhearing Mr. Stark and Ms. Diona saying that changes are impossible, Corki sneaks in and tries to find an open spot, but she ends up knocking the entire Family Week schedule over and tries to fix it, but it causes confusion for everyone. Sun Hi sees Caleb and asks for him to make another hit song for XO-IQ's Band Blast submission. He asks Sun Hi how hard it is to make a great track, but she doesn't really know, though she knows Caleb can do it. Valerie feels bad for Caleb about the way Sun Hi is treating him and not appreciating his hard work, so she offers to be his agent, and he agrees. Corki sees Alex and asks if he can move his piano recital for Jodi's fashion show. He can't because his family is coming over for one day only. However, Alex will do anything for a friend. Later, Sun Hi leaves to talk to Valerie and Corki leaves to search for a venue for Jodi. Caleb and Alex receive a text from Jodi about their sewing machine breaking down. While Caleb goes back to his room Alex stays, comforts Jodi, and tells to her to calm down. Jodi asks Alex if he can help sew the rest of the outfits, to which he agrees. Sun Hi talks to Valerie and reads the contract. In order for Sun Hi to get her song, she must support Caleb without speaking directly to him. Corki tries to go back to Ms. Diona's office to fix the schedule to open a venue. Jared shows up in a weird outfit because he wants to be a model for the fashion show. Jared creates a distraction while Corki does her part, but they both fail. Sun Hi sees Caleb and apologizes to him, saying that she really appreciates him. Valerie walks in and says that she can't talk to Caleb and she tells him there's a client that wants to buy his beats, but Heather tells them it is Linc. Jodi and Alex finish the dresses and Caleb stops by saying he doesn't have enough money. Sun Hi and Corki return and Sun Hi is mad at Caleb for abandoning them and making Valerie her agent. However, Caleb had fired Valerie because he didn't like the way she treats him and his friends. Caleb ends up fixing the song for Sun Hi and Sun Hi and Caleb forgive each other. However, there is still one problem: they don't have someone to record their Band Blast submission, but Heather walks in and they ask if she can do it for them, to which she agrees. Corki brings up that they still don't have a venue for the fashion show. However, Caleb later gets a phone call from Randy saying that the other band canceled and he needs them. They end up holding the concert and the fashion show at the same time and Jared gets his modelling debut. The crowd loves the show. It turns out it was Linc's band that canceled because Alex had food poisoning. Later, Hye Jung takes the stage and ends up taking the credit for the designs, leaving Jodi in shock and depression.
