List of European supercentenarians

This is an incomplete list of European supercentenarians (people from Europe who have attained the age of at least 110 years). One source of lifespans is the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) who as of November 2014 has verified the ages of over 300 supercentenarians from Europe.[1] As of 5 December 2016, there are 12 verified living supercentenarians in Europe, the oldest of whom is Italian woman Emma Morano, born 29 November 1899, aged 117 years, 6 days, who also is the oldest living person in the world.

The oldest European person, and the world's oldest person, ever was French woman, Jeanne Calment, who died at the age of 122 years, 164 days. The oldest European man ever was Danish Christian Mortensen who emigrated to the United States where he died at the age of 115 years, 252 days (the oldest man who died in Europe was Spaniard Joan Riudavets Moll who died at the age of 114 years, 81 days).
