Season 1 (2005)
The first season of the 2005 Doraemon anime series aired from April 15 to December 31, 2005 for a total of twenty-eight episodes, plus four specials.
The season uses two opening themes. The first opening theme is an instrumental remix of "Doraemon no Uta" (ドラえもんの歌 The Song of Doraemon) by the 12 Girls Band used from the first special to episode 24. The second opening theme is "Hagushichao" (ハグしちゃお) by Rimi Natsukawa used from episodes 25 to the fourth special.

Doraemon and Nobita use the Time Wrapping Cloth to fix broken items. Later, they find the cloth gone and try to find it./ Nobita finds a dandelion vrowing in his room and tries to throw it away but Doraemon tells him that it has feelings. To prove a point Doraemon gives him a pair of Fantasy Glasses which shows inanimate objects how they would be if they were alive. Nobita becomes obsessed with the glasses and learns a lesson about life from the dandelion. | ||

Irekae Rōpu Monogatari: Shizuka wants to climb trees while Nobita wants to do quiet things she does, so Doraemon lends them the Substitution Rope that allows them to switch bodies. While Shizuka in Nobita's body is enjoying her new life, Nobita in Shizuka's body eventually misses his old self. Mangaka Jaiko: Jaiko is working hard to make a funny comic and Gian threatens to his friends that he will beat them up if they don't laugh at Jaiko's comic. With Nobita hopeless at trying to laugh, Doraemon lends him the Magic Belly that makes him laugh whenever the stomach plate is rubbed. | ||

Doraemon Darake: After treating Doraemon to dorayaki, Nobita asks him to help do his homework. Oblivious to notice what happened in the room while Nobita sleeps in the hall, he wakes up to find the room in a wreckage, and Doraemon getting beaten up. Nobita time-travels back to the time when he slept and finds out Doraemon had went to seek his future selves' help - two hours; four hours; six hours and eight hours into the future. Kokoro Koron: Shizuka saves an old doll from getting damaged by a dog and mends it. With the help of Doraemon, Nobita and Shizuka attempt to return it back to its original owner using the Emotion Potion to find out how it is feeling. | ||

On a rainy day, Nobita is to take an umbrella to his father at the station, but gives them away to Shizuka and Gian. Nobita is in danger of cars as Doraemon tries to save him./ Nobita becomes a girl by mistake wearing girl's clothes and big hair like a girl and stopping his father when he was a child from committing suicide in the river by giving him a chocolate. | After the boys get into an argument, Doraemon goes back to the future. The next day after telling his friends what happened, Nobita remembers the day Doraemon came into his life. In the end Doraemon only needed a check-up but says he doesn't want to go back. So Nobita's descendent tricks Doraemon to go back by using reverse psychology. | ||

| A man mistreats his pet dog. The Pengpeng leaf, causes the dog to swap places with its owner, giving it a day of freedom while the man is chained up like a dog. The dog goes on to play baseball with a group of kids while the man struggles to escape. After spending the day chained up the man realizes what he's done and asks the dog to beat him. | To appease Shizuka and ensure Nobita's future as her husband, Dorami gives Nobita a special apron that makes him an expert at doing housework, culminating in a fried-rice cookoff between Nobita and Dekisugi, which has unexpected results. Doraemon and Dorami learn that they were mistaken about Shizuka marrying Dekisugi in the future, but decide to keep it a secret from Nobita, who is now enthusiastically helping his mother with the household chores. / Doraemon falls in love with a toy cat despite the objections from Nobita. After spending time with it Doraemon decides to make it into a cat robot like himself. Only when the operation is finished the cat reveals that he is a boy leaving Doraemon broken hearted. | |||
