Lindi Rural

Lindi Rural (Swahili: Lindi Vijijini) is one of the six districts of the Lindi Region of Tanzania. It is bordered to the north by the Kilwa District, to the south by the Mtwara Region, to the west by the Nachingwea District, and to the east by the Indian Ocean and the Lindi Urban District.[1]

According to the 2002 Tanzania National Census, the population of the Lindi Rural District was 215,764.[2]
