Liam Coltman (born 25 January 1990) is a rugby union player who plays at hooker for Otago in the ITM Cup.

Playing career

Coltman moved through age group levels for Taranaki, but moved south to attend the University of Otago.[2] He made his provincial debut for Otago in the 2010 ITM Cup and went on to make six appearances in the competition.

He was included in the wider training group of the Highlanders for the 2011 Super Rugby season. He signed a three-year deal[3] and then took on a leadership role in 2014.[4]

Internationally, he was a member of the World Champion New Zealand under-20 team in 2010.

Coltman was called up to the New Zealand All Blacks squad for the 2016 Rugby Championship as injury cover for Nathan Harris, earning his debut in a 68-10 victory against Italy on the end-of-year tour.[5]
