Levy Gerzberg

Dr. Levy Gerzberg is the chief executive officer of the Zoran Corporation.

Early life

Born in Israel, he attended the Technion in Israel, where he earned his bachelor's degree and master's degree. He received a PhD from Stanford University.

Career

Levy Gerzberg has created the successful processor for the DVD players and other gadgets with about 35% market share. Its Coach line of digital camera processors is also popular.[1]

Awards

In 2003, Gerzberg was a National Finalist and Award Recipient of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award. [2]

His published works include Monolithic Power Spectrum Centroid Detector from Stanford University in 1979.[3] In 2007 he was elected to a seat on the Board of Industry Leaders of the Consumer Electronics Association.[4]
