Lestes viridulus is a damselfly species in the family Lestidae, the spreadwings. It is native to Bangladesh, India, and Thailand, where it is widespread. It likely occurs in Myanmar, as well. In some areas the species can be found in long grass during the dry season.[1] This species is known commonly as the emerald spreadwing.[2]
