Leslie Lewis (sprinter)

Leslie Charles "Les" Lewis (26 December 1924 – 7 April 1986) was a British track and field athlete who competed in the 1948 Summer Olympics and in the 1952 Summer Olympics. He was born in Chertsey, Surrey.[1]

In the 1950 British Empire Games in Auckland, New Zealand he won two silver medals in relays and an individual silver medal in the 440yards.[1]

He later migrated over from England to New Zealand and became a geography and PE teacher.
