Lay Down Your Guns” was the first single by Australian rock musician, Jimmy Barnes’ fourth studio album, ‘’Two Fires’’. It was released in July 1990, two months prior to the album’s release and it reached #4 on the Australian ARIA charts.

It is included on his 1996 “Hits” compilation, his 2001 “Raw” album and as a duet on his 2014 “30:30 Hindsight” album with The Living End.
