Las amazonas, is a Mexican telenovela produced by Salvador Mejía Alejandre for Televisa.[3] It is an original story based on some arguments of the Venezuelan telenovela of 1985, Las Amazonas created by César Miguel Rondón.[1]The series originally aired from May 16 to August 7, 2016.[4][5]

The series is starring Victoria Ruffo as Inés, Danna García as Diana, César Évora as Victoriano, Grettell Valdez as Casandra, René Casados as Eduardo, Natalia Guerrero as Lisete, Mariluz Bermúdez as Constanza, Guillermo García Cantú as Loreto and Andrés Palacios as Alejandro.[6]

Plot

Tells the story of Victoriano, a landowner and businessman, father of three daughters (Diana, Casandra and Constanza), victim of lies and intrigues that prevent him from being with the love of his life, who has also sacrificed her happiness, as a victim of an act of violence that has condemned her to live in the shadow of the Santos family.

In a plot full of emotional situations, the three daughters of Victoriano struggle to reach their happiness beside the man they love, no matter the consequences. Diana, the eldest daughter of Victoriano is the one who most resembles him and whom he can least break; Casandra is sensible and independent, determined to make her way alone; Constanza is the youngest and for this reason rebellious and eager to live to the fullest.
