In the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game, the land lamprey is a type of monster.
Publication history
The land lamprey first appeared in the first edition Monster Manual II (1983).[1]
The land lamprey appeared in second edition under the "lamprey" heading in Monstrous Compendium Volume Two (1989),[2] and in the Monstrous Manual (1993).[3]
Description
A land lamprey is a mutated version of the sea lamprey, which breathes air and moves in a snake-like fashion.
