Lahuli–Spiti is a small group of Tibetic languages spoken in Lahaul and Spiti region of India. It is more closely related to Standard Tibetan than it is to the neighboring Ladakhi, which is spoken to the north in the Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Tournadre (2005), the dialects of Lahuli–Spiti are:[3]
- Lahuli (Stod Bhoti)
- Spiti
- Nyamkat
- Changthang
Bhoti Kinnauri and Tukpa (Nesang) may also belong here.
