Kung Fu Fighter is a 2013 Chinese action film. It was directed by Dragon Chen. It stars Dragon Chen, Liu Hailong, Wang Linna and Lam Wai.[1]

Plot

Chen Lin-dong is a struggling martial art player who is having a hard life with his fiancee Ke Lin. He promises her a good life but couldnot afford with his spiring with Li Qi, a movie actor.

Unable to earn a reasonable money he begins to act as a stunt men for Qi, who realise that Lin-dong is the Fung, murderer of his brother Li Wu. Qi and director Li try to frame and kill Lin-dong during the shooting. But to the dismay of Qi, Lin-dong saves the grand daughter of producer Mr Huang, who offer him the role of lead actor in his next venture.

As Lin-dong progresses to his stardom, he fakes Ke as the house-maid to Huang who tries to partner him with his niece Alice. As Alice starts to get close with Lin-dong, Lin being shocked goes for a date with another guy. Lin-dong try to persuade Lin but she infuriatingly return to the village.

In course of time, an American martial art player Peter shows up challenging the Chinese counterparts. Despite Huang repeated denial, Lin-dong set a fight with Peter. Lin-dong loses the fight which pokes Alice and he loses his fame. Lin-dong sets for his home where Ke is taking care of his old father.

For one year, Lin-dong and Lin are leading a happy life. But one day, Peter again challenges the best kung fu fighter of China. Qi tries to stop Peter but get his leg broken. Lin-dong returns to the city and accept Peter's challenge just to defeat him. Lin-dong and Ke get married and Lin-dong continues his acting career.
