Kshatriya Kulavantas

Kshatriya Kulavatauns is a title of nobility, which was conferred upon the seventeenth century Indian warrior king, Chhatrapati Shivaji Raje Bhosale and it means the head or chief of Kshatriya race.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8] ‘Kshatriya’ is one of the four varnas of Hinduism and ‘kulavantas’ means the head of the ‘kula’ or race.[9] The title continues to be used by Shivaji’s descendants.
