Komsomolske (Ukrainian: Комсомольське, Russian: Комсомольское) is a city in Starobesheve Raion, Donetsk Oblast (province) of Ukraine. Population is 12,813 (2001).

Starting Mid-April 2014 pro-Russian separatists captured several towns in Donetsk Oblast;^[1]^[2] including Komsomolske.^[3] On 29 August 2014, Ukrainian forces reportedly secured the city from the pro-Russian separatists.^[3] But on 31 August, it been recaptured by the separatists.^[4]
