University of Tehran’s International Campus - Kish Island^[1] is located on Kish Island. The official language of the Kish International Campus is English and all courses are offered in English.^[2]

International Conferences

University of Tehran, Kish International Campus hosted the 14/6/2012 South Asian Teaching Session on International Humanitarian Law by the International Committee of the Red Cross where seventy experts from eleven Asian countries attended.^[3]

Admission to Kish International Campus

English Language Requirement Since the language of instruction is English, acquirement of one of the internationally accepted tests such as TOEFL, TOLIMO, IELTS or UT-test is mandatory for non-English speaking applicants.^[4]

International Students Requirements for Admission to the University of Tehran, Kish International Campus as an International Student: •Applying for a Bachelor´s Degree: Holding a secondary high school certificate or diploma with a minimum GPA of 14 out of 20 (2.8 out of 4.0). •Applying for a Master´s Degree: Holding a B.A or B.Sc degree from an accredited institution with a minimum GPA of 14 out of 20 (2.8 out of 4.0). •Applying for a Ph.D Degree: Holding an M.A or M.Sc degree from an accredited institution with a minimum GPA of 15 out of 20 (3.0 out of 4.0)^[5]

Application Requirements All Applicants are requested to provide: •Completed application form.^[6] •Two letters of recommendation from individuals who can attest to your educational capabilities (it must be sealed in an envelope and signed across the back flap). •Three copies of official transcripts translated into English. •Three copies of applicant´s passport or Identification card. •Three recent photographs •Approval letter of financial support. •Original Bank Receipt ( Cost for Screening the File)

Cancer Research

Advanced studies conducted in Effect of Combination Exercise Training on Metabolic Syndrome Parameters in Postmenopausal Women with Breast Cancer that were conducted at the UT's Kish International Campus have been registered with the United States Library of Medicine, National Institute of Health.^[7]
