Kirk Barton (born November 4, 1984) is a former player, and former graduate assistant for the Ohio State Buckeyes football team. He became a graduate assistant after two years as an offensive quality control assistant.

He was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the seventh round of the 2008 NFL Draft of the National Football League. He played college football at Ohio State.

Barton was a member of the Miami Dolphins, San Francisco 49ers, Cincinnati Bengals and Denver Broncos. On August 24, 2010, he was waived by the Broncos and claimed by the Carolina Panthers. However, after three years, he decided on retirement after never playing in a real NFL game. He graduated with his MBA in 2012 and now works in private business.
