King Dugan's Dungeon is a computer puzzle game in Deadly Rooms of Death series published by Caravel Games. It's a commercial remake of the original DROD game released under DROD 2.0 engine, released in 2005 with enhanced graphics, new content and complete voice acting for Beethro and other characters. It is also integrated into Caravel's online score and progress-tracking system.[1]

Plot

Beethro, a dungeon exterminator, has been hired by the King Dugan to eliminate a roach problem in his dungeon. He uncovers the mysteries of king Dugan's dungeon as he grinds his way through the roach infestation. On the final floor, he confronts the Neather, an exiled human who is behind it all. [2][3]

Lite edition

Caravel and Retrocade.net released a flash version of the game titled "King Dugan's Dungeon Lite", divided into individual parts each containing four levels of the original version. The level rooms have been scaled down or redesigned to fit the lower resolution, but the Lite edition also offers the game in nine different languages, forty achievements, additional tutorials, keyboard configuration suited to Notebooks and Laptops and (in the event of online membership) the ability to submit scores to the site scoreboard.
