Khesari Lal Yadav

Khesari Lal Yadav ( Shatrughna Yadav,1986 Siwan, Bihar) is a Bhojpuri singer and actor.^[1] Khesari's breakthrough came from his Bhojpuri album Maal Bhetai Mela Me. In 2012, because of the movie Saajan Chale Sasural, he became a rising Bhojpuri film star. He sings his songs in his Mothertongue language .

Early Life

Initially, Khesari Lal was a folk singer as well as a dancer. He used to perform in several marriage ceremonies. He started as a Bhojpuri singer in a year where there was some difficulty. His life was full of struggle, he used to sell Litty in Siwan for his daily livelihood. His father was also a Bhojpuri folk singer, who greatly inspired Khesari to sing.

Career

He is greatly famous for dancing in typical north Indian girl's attire. However, his songs were praised by audiences in U.P., Bihar, and Jharkhand where Bhojpuri is a majorly speaking language. The most famous songs in his album are Piyawa Gaye re Hamar Saudi re Bhauji, Saiya Arab Gaiyle Na, Saiyan Aaiba ki na Aaiba, and Lehnga me Meeter.

Film

In 2014, he released his film Saajan Chale Sasural, and the morning after he had become the super star of the Bhojpuri films industry. He has also worked with many other notable actors such as Dinesh Lal Yadav and Pawan Singh.
